The Racial Justice Campaign Course is a 6 month course facilitated by leading national anti-racist campaigners and community organisers in West Yorkshire.
The course is designed to turn activists into organisers, and build solidarity between struggles. You can download the flyer here >
We are looking for campaigners/organisers working across the movement to join us for this free six months training which will be taking place in Leeds – Please ensure that you apply before the 23rd June!
What we hope to achieve with the course:
- Provide campaigners with the organising principles needed to increase campaigning efforts and avoid burnout
- Build solidarity and connections between campaigners working on different issues
- Offer monthly coaching sessions so campaigners can evaluate results and strengthen their campaigns
This first session will be followed by 6 months support and evening sessions, dates for these sessions will be confirmed on the first day of the course.
This time, the course is open to people of colour or people from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
If you require any additional support or if you are on low income, benefits or unwaged, please do let us know so that we can strive to make the course accessible to you.
The venue provides full disabled access, and we have facilitators experienced in delivering to people who do not have English as a first language.
